Chapter 20: Webtable innertext query
« on: April 13, 2010, 06:07:13 am »
In your book example in webtable chapter, it is mentioned that following line can't work as all 3 tables have same innertext,but when i ran it , i could see that first 2 tables do not have innertext (used IE exploer) but only last have innertext as "AttributeValueDescriptionalignleftAlignment of the element"

Browser().page().webtable(innertext:="Attribute.*Value.*Description.*" )

Could you please help to clarify?

<TABLE><TR>
    <TABLE><TR>
        <TABLE>
            <TR>
                <TD>Attribute</TD>
                <TD>Value</TD>
                <TD>Description</TD>
            </TR>
            <TR>
                <TD>align</TD>
                <TD>left</TD>
                <TD>Alignment of the element</TD>
            </TR>
        </TABLE>
    </TR></TABLE>
</TR></TABLE>

Try with this
Code: [Select]
<TABLE><TR><TD>
    <TABLE><TR><TD>
        <TABLE>
            <TR>
                <TD>Attribute</TD>
                <TD>Value</TD>
                <TD>Description</TD>
            </TR>
            <TR>
                <TD>align</TD>
                <TD>left</TD>
                <TD>Alignment of the element</TD>
            </TR>
        </TABLE>
    </TD></TR></TABLE>
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Thanks Tarun,
Yes now it throws an error as expected :
 The "[ WebTable ]" object's description matches more than one of the objects currently displayed in your application. Add additional properties to the object description in order to uniquely identify the object.

So <TD> is required?
